I've tested this journal layout on the four most widely-used browsers: IE, Safari, Firefox and Opera. The layout works well with the last three mentioned, but with IE, the whole journal box is placed left-most. I'll try to fix this.

Now if there's any more cross-browser glitch, tell me asap ayt?

hello! nice css layout.

masmaganda siguro kung gagawin mo syang liquid. yung nage-expand ba ng kusa.

pag malaki kasi resolution ng monitor ang-nipis lang nya.

Sa Firefox naka-center sya, while sa IE naka-left align. Tapos yung sa white BG naman, siguro nagkaroon lang ng conflict sa width because of padding or margin. pwede mo sya dayain by adding bgcolor to the whole body itself. or. add css styles exclusively for IE, tapos naka-seperate nalang yung pang-firefox.

hehe. though yung solution na naisaad ko, dunno kung compatible sya with DA's system..

Never did a css lay-out for here kasi. :-P

liquid? ahh, yung nka-repeat (or parang may filler)? hehe, yoko kasi gumulo yung design, pero ayun, yan siguro yung con ng ganun..

at uu, ang nipis nga! haha..

naayos ko na yung bg, bg-color lang pala yun

thnx din dun~ kaso yung position, di ko magets kung bakit sa IE lang yang ganyan, ginawa kong by % nalang, di pa rin nag-reflect yung changes. haay~ nwei, i give up.

next time pag gagawa ako journal layout, cut-cut nalang yung pictures, parang katulad sa journal ko.. dito kasi isang buong picture lang, tas ni-CSS ko nalang yung pinaka-journal body.. yung may dobleng CSS kasi, di pwede dito sa dA eh, isa lang talaga, nagkanda-lokoloko nga nung ni-try ko yung doble, di lumabas yung pic, etc.. haha~

try mo:
use the same class for IE. tapos pagdating sa firefox lagyan mo ng html>body

parang

.container .body { padding: 50px; }
html>body .container .body { padding: 40px; }

di ko sure kung gagana yan sa DA though.

Tapos yung sa liquid layout naman by % lang yung width ng lahat.

kunwari sa header sa taas:
.header { position:relative; clear:both; }
.header .right { width:10%; float:left; background-image:url(images/topleft.jpg); background-repeat:no-repeat; bg-align:left; }
.header .middle { width:60%; float:left; bgcolor:#000; }
